- Spent nine months doing educational research for doctorate in Cochabamba, Bolivia
- Active members in churches of various denominations
- After years of moving, settled in Richfield, Minnesota
- Long term block captains on Oak Grove Blvd, Richfield, Minnesota
- Devoted Sheltie owners
- As individuals and as a couple, enjoy speaking and teaching in schools, churches and organizations on the topics of building family and leadership relationships,
